Account/Relationship Manager

Contract Position — All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of ​4-month contract period.

The ​Relationship Manager provides our clients with exceptional service by developing and executing personalized ​communication and creative strategies to achieve client business objectives. The Relationship Manager is also accountable for maintaining and optimizing client revenue in an ROI-focused environment, ultimately to help grow ​account and overall Grip business.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Apply understanding of client objectives, consumer behavior/motivations, marketing and branding principles, available data, and ​services to develop communication strategy ​and ​recommendations
  • Develop and manage client roadmaps against quarterly account forecasts

  • Execution, Process & Project Management

  • Partner with cross-functional teams on account set-up ​and progress ​to achieve strategic goals
  • Demonstrate expertise in all ​Grip tools​, services​ and processes
  • Manage campaign launches across cross-functional teams to ensure strategic, effective, timely and efficient execution

  • Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor and manage ​account performance​ and growth to identify account risks and ​opportunities for additional revenue
  • Create and present campaign performance reports to clients​ when necessary
  • Interpret and apply analytical insights to optimize​ account ​processes

  • Client Growth

  • Identify opportunities for client program expansion
  • Partner with ​New Business to present new opportunities to clients

  • Creative

  • Liaise with Creative and direct teams into reasonable deadlines for deliverables
  • Conduct internal debriefs and touchbases with Creative to steward client projects forward
  • Lead C-level clients in strategic kick-offs with holistics goals and roadmap to completion
  • Proactively organize needs for respective meetings in tandem with Business Development and Creative

  • Drive adoption of products, tools, processes and best practices throughout team

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university
  • 4+ years in Account Management or Project Management (digital marketing or interactive agency experience is a plus)
  • Excellent client service acumen, presentation and writing skills
  • Meticulous communication skills to coordinate ​both ​internally and externally​ to seamlessly bring client projects to fruition
  • Superior organization, planning and communication skills to liaise between departments
  • Creative, self-starter, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Track record of working across an organization to get things done
  • Ability to learn quickly and think strategically
